Slow, sleepy and quaint. Worth a visit. Restaurant food was excellent ... Restaurant service and staff attitude sadly lacking and letting the new management down.
Excellent wood fired pizza! In fact, the pizza we ordered was perfect in every way. Not too dry or moist, not too salty, not over or under cooked and it had a generous topping. The hotel is being restored and the bistro has the old Australiana bush feel. The stain glass windows are in good condition. It was a joy to visit the place.
Friendy staff, clean and comfortable. However, the is pool closed and showers not maintained. Would be good if more outdoor seating.
Great spot for dinner for a group of fourteen. Good menu choices and great food. it was a little strange that we had to go to the bar to buy drinks (no table service) where, although not busy, the service was slow.
Musty dark rooms. Staff very amicable but renovations going on meant we were rudely awakened by scraping and banging at 7am Saturday morning and more rattling around on Sunday morning. Thanks to Angus Murray for providing some great entertainment on Friday night.
